That one of the wery first pic I saw from Contra III. I both like and hate that boss. I love it couse first you fight two smaller robots (big compared to a human, small comapred to that) and then the Big One comes thru the wall. I hate it couse I can never beat it on hard. His flamethrower it to fast.

i can beat him on hard if i use a continue right after you climb that huge wall and fight that wall crawler boss. but yes. hes a madman...robo...madrobo?
i never played contra 4, i hate when sequals only make it to handheld, its like a shoddy excuse for a remake, not a sequal, as you stated, even has the same bosses. idk i love contra nonetheless.. truly one of the last few games that will make you cry from its punishing difficulty.
